Lesa Mitchell has over twenty years of global leadership experience in enterprise technology, product management, product licensing and mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industry and as an entrepreneur.
As the Vice President of Innovation at the Kauffman Foundation, Lesa designed and implemented initiatives to foster economic growth in life sciences, technology, hardware and energy sectors. She was instrumental in the early work and scaling of Faster Cures, Charité Summit, Startup Weekend, Code for America, Maker Faire, Urban Manufacturing Alliance, Astia, Women 2.0 and Startup America Partnership.
Lesa serves on the boards of Modern Meadow, Humin, Kairos Society, Neighborly, 8 Rivers Capital, CapLinked and the Althea Foundation. She also serves as a Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute.
