Marta Bulaich has been working in Silicon Valley for the past 20 years in incubators, startups and venture funds. Most recently she was VP of Marketing at Canaan Partners where she worked on marketing and business development initiatives for the fund and its portfolio companies.
Before joining Canaan, Marta was a Network Associate at Draper Fisher Jurvetson where she managed marketing and collaborated on business development initiatives with the DFJ Global Network of 16 funds and their 400 portfolio companies. She also held marketing and strategic business development positions at startups including Capella Photonics, a telecommunications subsystems manufacturer (acquired by Alcatel Lucent), and Senvid, creator of MioNet, a remote access and file sharing service (acquired by Western Digital).
Previously, she was an Associate at Vanguard Ventures where she was involved in Vanguard’s software and life science investments. Marta also worked at MedTech Ventures, a Vanguard Ventures sponsored medical technology incubator which providing seed stage companies with strategic planning, due diligence, operations, and fund raising advice.
Marta graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Delta Pi with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Scripps College with a major in Classics and minors in Chemistry and Latin American Studies. An avid student of yoga, Marta completed the San Francisco Iyengar Yoga Institute’s Teacher Training program and is an instructor in the Bay Area.
